Boy do I have a cool DIY for you! This makes a great decor piece for your living room or bedroom, it could work even in a bathroom. Plants can get expensive, especially if they keep dying on you (I might have bad luck with flowers)! Well this is a cool alternative to dying plants and it's even fun to make. Unleash your inner interior decorator and get your green thumb on while your at it. You can use any kind of jar or container you want from bowls, vases, fish bowls to even light bulbs, all depending on the size you want it to be. After you have your container you get to customize the inside. I used natural garden soil and planted a real cactus right in the middle. Then I surrounded the cactus with a few different things; rocks and fake flowers and grass! This way it never dies but I still get a natural look and smell from the final piece. (This may or may not be my old fish bowl that belonged to a very feisty beta...named Chowder)
